23 Weeks

I had an OB appt this week! I also had the dreaded gestational diabetes test done. I went in, they took blood, I had to drink a mini water bottle sized orange drink (which was NOT bad at all by the way), and after one hour they took my blood again. I had heard horror stories about women passing out and the drink being horrible…..pfft! It was no biggie :) AND while we were waiting, my OB gave us a surprise ultrasound!! He was seriously so proud of my weight, and said I was doing great. Em was a foot long and weighed 1 pound 5 ounces! She is doing wonderful. The next week I got word that I passed the glucose test…..YAY!

How far along? 23 weeks
Weight gain/loss: Up a pound to 126. Total gained: 1 lb.
Maternity clothes? Nope, just the bella band
Stretch marks? None
Symptoms? None, I’m feeling great

Best moment this week? Seeing our baby girl and passing the glucose test
Food cravings: None, I haven’t really had one yet!
Gender: Girl!!
Belly button in or out? In, but starting to get flatter and flatter ;)
Movement? All the time! She is a wiggle worm in the evenings
What I'm looking forward to: Setting up the nursery

Weekly wisdom: Every baby item you buy, price check it online. I have always found everything so much cheaper this way. Oh, and use coupons.
Milestones: passing the glucose test

Baby size: mango and weighs 1.1 pounds
